What Does Loving Someone Mean to You?

For me, love is more than a feeling. It's a verb that must be shown through actions every day. It means seeing a person completely, both their strengths and weaknesses, and accepting them without trying to change who they are.

It means facing many seasons of life together, hand in hand, as a team rather than depending on each other for everything.

Love is having a safe place to share your deepest fears, talk about your dreams, offer forgiveness, trust each other, and grow together.

It's having someone who can see your vulnerable side and still choose to stay. Someone you can be genuinely yourself with, without constantly worrying about being left behind or feeling like you're not enough.

Loving someone means I want you in my life because you make it better.

But I also believe that love should not make us lose ourselves. We can grow together while still becoming our own person. We can support each other without controlling each other.

For me, love is not about finding someone who completes me.

It's about finding someone who is willing to walk beside me while we both continue growing.

And maybe, that's what makes love meaningful, not just choosing each other when everything is easy, but continuing to treat each other with kindness, honesty, and respect through every season of life.
